FAQ
Is SolKit custodial?
No. Transactions are built in your browser and signed by your wallet. We never see your private key or seed phrase and never hold your tokens.
What does "revoke mint authority" mean?
It permanently removes the ability to mint more tokens, so the supply is fixed. Buyers and DEX screeners treat this as a key trust signal.
Why revoke freeze authority?
With freeze authority the creator could freeze holders' tokens. Most liquidity pools and traders require it to be revoked.
How much does it cost in total?
0.1 SOL service fee with mint & freeze revoke included (+0.05 SOL only if you make metadata immutable), plus ≈0.0167 SOL of network costs: rent deposits for the mint, metadata and token account and the 0.01 SOL Metaplex metadata fee. Everything is itemized before you sign.
Will my token show in Phantom and Solscan?
Yes. SolKit creates a standard SPL token with Metaplex metadata (name, symbol, logo), which wallets, explorers and DEXs read automatically.
Can I test for free?
Yes — switch to Devnet in the header and use free devnet SOL. Fees on Devnet are test SOL with no value.
Do you list or promote tokens?
No. SolKit is a neutral tool; creating a token here is not an endorsement. We have a strict no-scam policy.
